Pocatello H2O Supply System Events: 1953
The following important water supply system developments took place during this period of time:
Installed interconnection, 6" meter and 4" pressure reducing valve at 12th and Oak between Pocatello and Alameda.
Well #8 deepened to 320 feet.
Well #12 begun at Gould and Garrett Way (old #3 Fire Station).
Well #13 was drilled at Riverside Golf Course. It was discontinued at 75 feet due to hitting bedrock without encountering suitable water. Moved well site to a point 500 feet east of club house and successfully completed.
Constructed 300,000 gallon steel reservoir at East Center.
